Conducted internal and external research across Lenovo archives, CED 2025 tech reveals, and in-person demos of ThinkReality and Meta Quest wearables to identify trends in collaboration and device ecosystems

Synthesized findings from three opportunity spaces - Device Collaboration, Education and Gaming - then narrowed to the Smart Office Ecosystem using methods such as “4 Lenses” and “Mild vs Wild”

Explored concepts through task analysis, ecosystem mapping, and “How Might We” sessions. Tested early ideas (smart badge, meeting display, AI assistant) through workshops and a 67-participant Dscout survey

Designed high-fidelity prototypes of the Ecosystem Hub App, Smart Badge and Room Concierge using Lenovo Cake UI and Bento-styled widgets. Validated through user testing and refined for clarity and accessibility.

To build Mosaic, we:

  • Created system maps of Lenovo’s current device ecosystem

  • Sketched early wireframes and task flows around meeting scenarios

  • Evolved from low-fidelity sketches to mid-fidelity layouts, then to high-fidelity UI integrating Cake UI components

  • Focused on accessibility, proximity interactions and AI assistance as core design tenets
